A small lab and a short list.

It reads as beauty to be. We liked that it points at the next thing rather than the last one, which is roughly how the company works — the run in the lab matters more to us than the one that already shipped.

That’s the entire story. If it turns out to mean something better later, we’ll take the credit for it then.

Five hundred units is roughly the smallest batch our lab will run and still hold the colour steady from the first tube to the last. It’s also small enough that a shade nobody wants costs us a few weeks instead of a year.

The practical effect is that we can put out a colour we’re not sure about. Cherry Cola started as a run we expected to regret. It now sells out in a day, which is why it’s back in Run 016 with a slightly deeper base.

The cost of working this way is that things run out, and we can’t always tell you exactly when they’ll return. What we can tell you is the date the next run goes live, which is what the text list is for.

All five products are made under contract at a cosmetics lab in [MANUFACTURING LOCATION], to our formulas. Every batch is tested for microbial safety and stability before it ships, and the run number on the box maps to that batch’s paperwork.

We’re the merchant of record on every order. Nothing here is drop-shipped, resold or fulfilled by a marketplace, and we don’t sell through affiliates.
